HEY-OOOOOOO

This was one of the very few original pages I was actually pretty pleased with, but I was able to push it further into the stratosphere of LUDICROUS thanks to a liberal dose of GO NAGAI FACE in the second panel there. The original second panel is pretty inscrutable the more I look at it, actually. Totally doesn't give off the THIS MAN IS INSANE vibe that i was going for

Also, I have no idea why I didn't extend the background lines all the way to the edges on the original. There was some arbitrary border down at the bottom for whatever reason, but that's fixed now. This is going to EXPLODE YOUR FACE when you see it in its full glory in the book, hahahaha

No matter how this would go, I would've always figured for Kamina to have a rather large caliber revolver.

Though Go Nagai was involved in the creation of Getter Robo, it was actually Ken Ishikawa who drew it. Don't worry, it's a pretty common misconception. Great work either way, though!

The original seems more like the traditional Gurren Lagann style, but the new one defines your art style more. Your style is more dynamic and catches the eye a LOT easier than the original.
